What You'll Do
GTM & Client Growth
  • Outreach & engagement: Source and engage prospects through email, cold outreach, conferences, and referrals.
  • Pipeline building: Identify companies with commodity exposure and hedging needs. Build a consistent outbound pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Consultative selling: Run discovery calls and demos that speak credibly to operators, procurement teams, and finance leaders. Understand their exposures and show how Pillar solves them.
  • Closing: Build proposals, ROI cases, and negotiate terms. Own deals from first touch through close.
  • Client onboarding: Ensure new clients are set up for success, partnering with the team to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Process improvement: Refine outreach templates, pitch materials, and sales workflows as we scale.
What We are Looking For
  • 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, start-up building, or go-to-market roles
  • Understanding of how physical operators think about commodities / physical inputs, hedging, risk, and managing input / output price volatility
  • Commercial and relationship-driven mindset, where you're energized by getting to know potential customers, building a pipeline, and closing deals
  • Ability to hold your own in a conversation with a CFO or head of procurement by speaking in their language and not relying on jargon
  • Scrappy and self-directed; comfortable building process from scratch and able to solve ambiguous problems with minimal guidance
  • Excitement about working with and leading teams as well as working individually, and are able to clearly communicate with others
