POSITION SUMMARY

Hurley & Associates is looking for motivated professionals to join our team as a Farm Marketing Consultant. This role works directly with producers to develop marketing strategies, manage commodity risk, and help farm families make informed decisions for their operations and future generations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and risk management plans tailored to individual farm operations.

  • Guide clients through market decisions by presenting clear strategies and risk management options through cash sales, futures, options, and other tools.

WORK ENVIRONMENT, GROWTH & COMPENSATION

This position is based in a Hurley & Associates office. Consultants are expected to work on-site alongside experienced team members to maximize training, mentorship, collaboration, and professional development opportunities. Occasional travel is required for client meetings, farm visits, industry events, and training programs.

At Hurley & Associates, we believe in rewarding initiative, professional growth, and long-term client success. The anticipated starting salary for this position is $55,000, with significant upside opportunity; the variable nature of this pay is comprised of base pay plus performance incentives. Hurley takes into account a variety of factors to determine base pay including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. You will have opportunities to build and expand your own client deck, develop advanced commodity marketing and risk management expertise, mentor future consultants, and pursue leadership opportunities.
