As a Commercial Relationship Manager - Agriculture, you'll build lasting relationships with farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses by delivering financial solutions that support their success. You'll manage and grow a portfolio of agricultural clients while helping them navigate opportunities and challenges with confidence. This role offers the opportunity to expand your commercial banking expertise while making a meaningful impact in the agricultural community.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and grow a portfolio of agricultural clients through proactive business development and relationship management.

  • Identify client needs and deliver tailored lending, deposit, and treasury management solutions.

  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and operational performance to structure sound credit solutions.

  • Conduct client meetings, farm visits, and due diligence to understand business operations and financing needs.

  • Manage an agricultural loan portfolio by monitoring credit quality, identifying risks, and supporting long-term client success.

  • Partner with internal teams to prepare, present, and close credit opportunities while ensuring compliance with lending policies.

  • Stay informed on agricultural markets, commodity trends, and economic conditions to provide valuable financial guidance.

  • Maintain accurate client records, pipeline activity, and relationship updates within CRM systems.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial, agricultural, or small business lending.

  • Knowledge of credit analysis, financial statement interpretation, and commercial lending practices.

  • Understanding of agricultural operations, including crops, livestock, equipment, and agricultural real estate.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of agricultural production cycles, commodity markets, and industry risk factors.

  • Experience with commercial real estate or agribusiness lending structures.

  • Strong business development, prospecting, pipeline management, and CRM experience.

  • Knowledge of treasury management, deposit products, and commercial banking services.

  • Experience managing increasingly complex loan portfolios and working with compliance or regulatory requirements.
