Validation & Commissioning Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Validation & Commissioning Manager to lead the installation, commissioning, and qualification of equipment and systems. This individual will serve as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and leadership to ensure successful project execution, validation strategy, and equipment readiness.


Key Responsibilities:


Validation

  • Develop and execute validation master plans, protocols, and final reports
  • Lead validation activities for equipment, processes, and machinery
  • Manage internal validation team members, as well as external validation contractors and vendors
  • Develop training plans and processes to ensure the department has the tools and resources needed to be successful
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with internal and external requirements

Construction Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee equipment installation and construction activities
  • Manage construction timelines, budgets, procurement, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with engineers and skilled trades to ensure construction aligns with design standards
  • Lead construction site meetings, safety compliance efforts, and issue resolution
  • Ensure proper handoff of completed areas to validation and operations teams
  • Review and approve commissioning documents and punch lists

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in validation and/or construction management
  • Proven experience managing complex construction or equipment installation projects
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Proficiency with MS Project and validation documentation tools
