Loan Officer Trainee Program

This is not a passive training program. From day one, you'll be actively engaged, learning the skills and confidence needed to succeed in a fast-paced, rewarding sales environment.
Throughout the program, you'll gain experience in:
  • Mortgage industry fundamentals
  • Sales and communication techniques
  • Live borrower conversations
  • Loan product education and mortgage scenarios
  • Objection handling and relationship building
  • Lead management and pipeline development
  • Licensing and compliance requirements

You'll work alongside experienced mortgage professionals who are invested in your success and committed to helping you build a long-term career.
What You'll Accomplish Within Your First 90 Days
  • Completed mortgage licensing and compliance training (100% company-paid)
  • Mastered proven sales scripts and communication techniques
  • Built and managed a pipeline of prospective borrowers
  • Gained hands-on experience with loans actively moving through the process
  • Received ongoing coaching and mentorship from industry leaders

Schedule
  • Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities
• Engage and guide current and prospective homeowners through the initial stages
• Leverage warm calling techniques to establish rapport, build trust, and nurture relationships
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities by employing active listening and strategic questioning techniques
• Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to effectively position products/services
• Prepare diligently for the NMLS state exam
Qualifications
• Driven by growth and income potential
• Ready to work hard and build something long-term
• Coachable and eager to learn
• Previous mortgage experience is a plus, but not required
• At least 1 year of sales experience is preferred (Phone, Car, Financial, Insurance, Fitness)
• Candidates should feel comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls in this role
• Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for quickly building rapport with clients
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is important
