Job DescriptionDescription:
- Commissions - Customer Service and Billing Analyst.
- Take calls and answer emails regarding commissions from travel agents and our hotels.
- Serve as contact point for internal and external inquiries regarding TA commissions.
- Research commission inquiries and provide resolution.
- Monitor weekly processes to insure accurate commission processing. This includes batch processing, control table monitoring and TA (Travel Agent) information uploads into the Central Commission System.
- Process manual commission billing.
- Work on special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years customer service or finance experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Intermediate Excel required (must understand pivot tables, formulas, Vlookup)
- Some MS Access knowledge a plus
- Experience with the following reporting tool a plus- MicroStrategy
- Must be able to make judgment calls regarding the resolution of issues
- Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively in order to meet deadlines
- Demonstrate ability to effectively work with all levels within the company, including executive management
- Multi-task on competing priorities which are all deadline sensitive
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hotel/hospitality experience a plus
