Job Summary: Bureau Veritas Mission Critical is a mission critical professional services firm specializing in independent third-party commissioning, QA/QC, operations consulting, and owner's representative services. The Senior Estimator supports the Americas (United States, Canada, and Latin America) Pricing Director and Proposal Coordination Director in the Data Center space within the Bureau Veritas Mission Critical Business Unit. This role is responsible for developing accurate and competitive pricing, performing detailed cost analyses, reviewing request for proposal requirements, and supporting proposal coordination activities, with an approximate 75% pricing and 25% proposal support focus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Develop detailed estimates and pricing models for mission critical/data center projects, including labor, materials, subcontractor, and other project-related costs. • Analyze and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), scopes of work, technical specifications, and proposal requirements, including Spanish-language RFPs for Latin America opportunities. • Support with pricing exercises, cost modeling, bid analysis, assumptions documentation, and pricing strategy development. • Support with proposal inputs, pricing narratives, schedules, clarifications, and related deliverables. • Review and interpret mechanical and electrical one-line diagrams and other MEP-related documentation to support accurate estimating assumptions. • Prepare, maintain, and update estimating tools, pricing templates, cost databases, and supporting documentation using Microsoft Excel and other company systems. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including operations, sales, proposal, project management, and technical teams, to validate assumptions, scope requirements, and pricing inputs. • Identify potential pricing risks, scope gaps, exclusions, and clarifications and communicate them timely to appropriate stakeholders. • Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality while managing multiple pricing and proposal deadlines. • Use Salesforce, Deltek, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other business systems to support estimating and proposal activities. • Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.

Education, Certifications, and Experience (required) BV_C2_Internal • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or commensurate industry experience related to MEP components. • Five (5) years of experience in the Mission Critical space, specifically related to Data Centers, preferred in lieu of or in addition to degree requirements. • Experience supporting estimating, pricing, proposal development, project controls, construction, commissioning, QA/QC, operations consulting, or owner's representative services preferred. • General understanding and comprehension of mechanical and electrical one-line diagrams required. • Experience with Salesforce preferred; experience with Deltek preferred, with training acceptable.
