Valve Body Technician / Assembler
Join our team at DTI Power Train in Shakopee, MN, and become a crucial part of our mission to provide the highest-quality remanufactured transmissions in the automotive industry. As a Valve Body Tech, you will play a key role in assembling, inspecting, and testing transmission valve body components to ensure top-notch quality and functionality. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with small mechanical parts in a production environment, this position is perfect for you.
Daily Responsibilities
- Assemble valve body units using small components such as valves, springs, gaskets, and plates
- Follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and specifications
- Inspect parts for defects, wear, or damage prior to assembly
- Perform quality checks and ensure all assemblies meet required tolerances
- Clean and prepare components to maintain precision and prevent contamination
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
