Job description

Job Summary:
The Solar Installer will be responsible for installation and oversight of field electrical work to ensure code compliance and the highest quality work. The solar installer will work on residential solar energy systems, ensuring that solar panels are correctly installed and functioning efficiently. This role requires technical skills, knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Installation: Install solar panels, inverters, and associated equipment on rooftops or ground-mounted systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on solar systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Site Assessment: Evaluate installation sites for structural integrity, shading, and potential obstacles, providing recommendations for optimal solar panel placement.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with solar systems, including performance problems and electrical faults.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and system performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with lead, electricians, and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations to clients and addressing any concerns they may have.

Salary Range:
$43,300.00 - $64,950.00
*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
