Description
SUMMARY:
Supervises Slots Technicians and oversees the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment, including slot machines and video equipment, by performing mechanical and electronic repairs quickly and efficiently. Always provides excellent Guest Service. Assists the Slot Technical Manager in the coordination and supervision of all technical areas throughout the casino.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform excellent and efficient guest service at all times
  • Evaluate the gaming floor and communicate changes and needs to Slot Technical Manager
  • Assist with the training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions of Slot Department personnel
  • Maintain and repair electronic slot machines, video equipment, and other electronic/mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot, replace/install parts and keep accurate repair, maintenance parts, and floor moves logs
  • Schedules preventive maintenance programs
  • Perform repair functions in a manner that is efficient and provides maximum customer service
  • Follow Casino policy and procedure for equipment operations and repair
  • Display a professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record
  • Oversee the activity of Slot Technical Department personnel where assigned
  • Resolve Gaming and Guest Service related concerns
  • Stay informed of Industry trends, machine operation, current and upcoming special events
  • Promote Departmental and Casino Wide promotions
  • Create an atmosphere of EXCITEMENT for all casino guests

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work effectively with Team Members and Guests
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English; orally and in writing
  • Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule
  • Knowledge of computers (hardware and software)
  • Knowledge of electronic repair procedures, proper use of tools and associated test equipment
  • Ability to keep track of parts inventory, preventive maintenance and scheduling of slot techs
  • Skill in resolving customer and employee concerns
  • Skill in managing multiple projects and priorities

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and carry up to 60 pounds
  • Constantly walking and standing
  • Constant hearing, seeing and talking
  • Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
  • Close spaces while working with others
