Job description

Location: Carlstadt, NJ (with frequent on-site travel to Queens, NY)
Position Type: 8-10 Month Contract (With strong potential to transition to permanent, Full-Time employment upon project completion)
Reports To: General Manager of Visual Graphics
About BluEdge
BluEdge is a leading print, fabrication, and experiential graphics company. We partner with top-tier clients to bring massive creative visions to life. We have recently won a prestigious, large-scale stadium signage contract in the New York City area. To ensure the flawless execution of this high-profile build, we are seeking a dedicated, construction-savvy Project Manager to own the project from kickoff to final inspection.
Position Overview
The Project Manager for Signage will serve as the primary structural and logistical anchor for a massive, newly built stadium signage project. This role requires a unique hybrid professional: someone who possesses deep knowledge of large-format graphics and fabrication, but is equally comfortable navigating active construction sites, dealing with General Contractors (GCs), and interpreting architectural blueprints.
This is an intensive, 8-10 month assignment requiring regular travel to the stadium site in Queens. For the right candidate who demonstrates elite execution, leadership, and process management, this role offers a direct path into a permanent, full-time position within BluEdge's expanding experiential division.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • On-Site Construction Liaison: Act as the primary field contact at the Queens stadium site. Coordinate directly with General Contractors, site superintendents, and union installation crews to align our delivery schedules with the master construction timeline.
  • Blueprint & Submittal Review: Review, interpret, and cross-reference architectural drawings, engineering specifications, and site surveys to ensure all large-format signage and structural elements fit perfectly on-site.
  • Project Lifecycle Oversight: Direct the project through every phase-conception, file preparation, structural fabrication, shipping logistics, and ultimate on-site installation-guaranteeing compliance with stadium specifications, budgets, and safety codes.
  • Production & Vendor Coordination: Sync closely with internal print and fabrication production teams in Carlstadt, as well as outside material vendors, to maintain an efficient, uninterrupted supply chain to the construction site.
  • Scope & Change-Order Management: Proactively identify field discrepancies or design changes. Work alongside estimators and account executives to qualify project scope updates and manage formal change orders seamlessly.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Provide high-level, transparent progress reports to both internal executives and external stadium stakeholders, solving complex logistical problems with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset.

Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
