Description
Makers Air is seeking a motivated, sales driven, detail-oriented Charter Sales Specialist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. This role combines charter sales, booking coordination, and personalized guest service to create a seamless, VIP-level experience from the initial inquiry through departure.
The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-focused, and comfortable managing multiple details in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Onsite - Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE)

What You'll Do:
  • Evaluate charter inquiries and provide accurate quotes, referring clients to scheduled flights when applicable.
  • Guide clients through the booking process, collecting necessary information to select the appropriate aircraft.
  • Follow operational protocols to ensure smooth booking and execution of services.
  • Create and distribute custom itineraries and arrange ground transportation, catering, and special requests.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and at Customs and ensure the passenger lounge is well-maintained and stocked.
  • Address guest inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly, ensuring a VIP-level experience.
  • Collect deposits and balances, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with pilots, freight, valet, and hotel partners to fulfill special requests and elevate the guest experience.
  • Generate 5 sales leads per month and quote/book day trips while cultivating relationships with hotel partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create reports, execute strategic campaigns, and support BIT brand growth.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements
What Youl'l need:
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, Aviation, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, charter operations, hospitality, customer service, or the travel industry.
  • Familiarity with private aviation or tourism industries is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., booking systems, CRM, and Microsoft Office).

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Salary Description
$60,000 + Commission
