Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled In-House / Field Service Technician to become an integral part of our team. This role involves servicing and maintaining our state-of-the-art measuring instruments, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, enthusiastic about technology. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, with customer satisfaction as our top priority.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive service and support to customers during field visits and in-house repairs.
  • Efficiently use the company CRM for service quotes, tracking repair statuses, and maintaining a troubleshooting log.
  • Conduct onsite installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance with precision and expertise.
  • Manage a travel schedule of up to 50%, including planning, customer issue documentation, ordering parts, and travel arrangements.
  • Diagnose and solve technical issues, offering timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain thorough service and expense reports, and actively promote our service offerings.
  • Adhere to all company procedures and protocols, fostering teamwork and information sharing within the technical team.
  • Understand and meet customer needs, providing high-quality recommendations and briefings.
  • Cultivate positive customer relationships, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Requirements:

  • 2 years of demonstrated field service experience, with a strong foundation in troubleshooting and servicing technical equipment.
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility and openness to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, for service and maintenance tasks.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
  • Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • Valid driver's license.
