Job description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsible for

In-home care.

Skilled visits

Intel's visiting and provide nursing care to patients at homes, community, and resident settings. Provide compassionate, personalized nursing care services to patients. Provide and facilitate diagnostic procedures and other lab tests as permitted for patients. Assist and support patients in organizing their physical activities.

Supervisory visits

Monitoring patient care and doing nurse supervisory with caregivers by phone or in-home visits as needed. Liaison between office, caregivers, and others.

Assessments, admissions

RN's only can do the admission process, consents, sign service agreements, and patient rights. Includes home assessment and the client's health assessment, medication reconciliation, and create Careplans. Nursing assessments as needed. Insurance assessments.

Required

• Is a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Is currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• Has at least two year's general nursing experience, with current home care, medical, surgical, or critical experience.
• Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
• Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health.
• Has presented a pre-employment physician's health clearance including a negative TB skin test, current First Aid & CPR certification, and other tests as required by the Company's policy.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Company requirements and is in good working order.
• Has excellent references from previous/current employers and/or professional peers.
• Has abilities to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Help with skills test and competency test as needed.
