What is a Commission RN Insurance Assessment nurse?

Commission RN Insurance Assessment nurses are registered nurses who conduct health assessments on behalf of insurance companies. Their main role is to evaluate clients’ medical histories, current health status, and sometimes perform physical examinations to inform insurance underwriting decisions. These assessments may be done in person, via phone, or through electronic health record reviews. The information gathered helps insurers determine risk levels and policy eligibility.
