Job description

The Inside Sales/Customer Service role sells and services new and existing accounts. The position is also responsible for performing sales and service functions for targeted markets, programs and sales as assigned. The main focus is to retain customers and regain lost sales.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs the functions of a CSA to include initiating and following up to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, correspondence or leads and complete reports or input for tracking purposes and follow up.
  • Recommend and advise technical resources as required by customer situations.
  • Prepare, process, review, and monitor various documents such as contracts, quotations, purchase orders and other relative documents.
  • Contact current and prospective customers to sell and explain products, perform account rounding and solicit new business within the market area with focus on retention.
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses for existing and potential customers.
  • Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
  • Maintain all sales demonstration tools and applications.
  • Work with finance to assist in the collection of past due accounts.
  • Perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
  • Prepare and calculate product sales, invoicing, commissions, and other accounting related functions.
  • Update the CRM system with customer calls, emails, and tasks.
  • Attend sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the marketplace.
  • Work with quality on customer related failures, problems, and issues.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or inside sales required
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Business acumen with proficient communication skills.
  • Customer/client focused.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven record of problem solving and analysis.
  • Results driven sales professional with technical capability and ability to differentiate product specifications and applications.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
