Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnosis, and evidenced-based therapies in individual and group settings, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Actively communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers to report on client progress, share concerns, and address any emerging issues.
• Collaborate with clients' families and support systems to create comprehensive treatment and discharge plans that facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records, including clinical documentation and progress notes, in accordance with departmental policies and standards.
• Coordinate care by connecting clients with additional services and community resources to aid in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Crystal Cove Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use challenges. Our telehealth model allows us to reach clients from various backgrounds and geographic locations, ensuring that they receive the support they need, regardless of their circumstances. Your role in providing culturally competent and individualized care is critical to helping clients achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or an equivalent credential is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, telehealth platforms, and other clinical tools essential for remote counseling.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple client caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with trauma-informed practices, substance abuse treatment, and group therapy facilitation is highly desirable. Familiarity with community resources and the ability to establish connections with external providers will enhance the support you offer to clients. Additionally, knowledge of best practices in telehealth counseling will be beneficial as you engage with clients remotely.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
