Outbound Sales Rep - Base + Uncapped Commission, Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne, IN • On-site

$63K - $207K/yr

Job description

Make $63K-$125K+ in Fort Wayne selling a service that practically sells itself. $1,250/month base plus uncapped commission. Daytime hours. We train you from scratch.

If you've done outside sales, door-to-door, car sales, insurance, solar, roofing, or you're a hungry person who knows you can sell, this is for you.

We're hiring one local hunter in Fort Wayne to grow a respected local business. You'll talk to investors and property owners, build relationships with local professionals, and close deals. You don't need to know our industry. If you can hold a conversation and you're not afraid of a phone or a "no," we'll teach you the rest.

What you'd make:
- $1,250/month base, paid no matter what
- Plus a commission on every deal you close, uncapped
- Realistic year one: about $63K at a steady pace, $87K-$100K if you push, $125K+ for a killer
- You'll always be able to do the math on your own paycheck. More activity = more money.
- Schedule: Mostly M–F business hours, mix of phone + local meetings (home for dinner)

You’ll be trained directly by DoorGrow on the same Growth Engines we’ve used to help property managers add hundreds of doors.

Calculated Earnings:
You earn 20-25% of first month's rent per door closed (20% to start, with the ability to move up to 25% as a top performer).

Doors Closed/Month Your Commission (at 20%, based on an average revenue per door of $1200, with a $400 minimum):
- 10 doors $4,000 + $1,250 base = $5,250/month
- 15 doors $6,000 + $1,250 base = $7,250/month
- 20 doors $8,000 + $1,250 base = $9,250/month
- 25 doors $10,000 + $1,250 base = $11,250/month
- 30 doors $12,000 + $1,250 base = $13,250/month
- 40 doors $16,000 + $1,250 base = $17,250/month

What you’ll do:
- Make calls and book meetings with local property owners and referral partners
- Meet people over coffee, lunch, and at local business and real estate events
- Build a referral network of agents, vendors, and partners who send you warm intros
- Follow a proven, step-by-step playbook (you won't be guessing)
- Track your pipeline and show up to a quick daily team huddle

Why this beats the grind you're used to:
- Get out of the Indiana winter. Most of your day is on the phone and in sit-down meetings, in a heated building, not freezing on a driveway in a 20 degree Fort Wayne winter.
- Daytime, business hours work. No knocking residential doors at 8pm. Home for dinner.
- You're selling something people actually need (freedom from being a landlord), not a saturated product with 50 competitors
- You're trained directly by a team that's done over $13 million in sales in this space
- A system and coaching, not "here's a list, good luck"

To be fair:
This is a hunting role. The first 90 days are about building your pipeline: roughly 200 calls a week plus local networking before the big checks land. If you want leads spoon-fed to you, this isn't it. If "more dials = more money" gets you fired up, keep going.

What success looks like:
- 10+ new doors/month consistently after ramp; top reps can reach 20–30+/mo
- 50+ completed sales conversations/month (phone or in person)
- A growing network of local agents, vendors, and investors sending you warm intros
- Professional, high‐retention owners (not “any door at any price”)
- Minimum outbound activity expectations are consistently met each week (until growth engines & referral relationships are established)
- You job is to install growth engines and build relationships with referral partners so you no longer need to do outbound calls & instead have leads coming to you

What you get:
- $1,250/mo base + 20% uncapped commission of first month’s rent on every door you add
- Direct coaching from a team that’s done $13M+ in sales in this niche
- Access to DoorGrow training, scripts, objection handling, and Growth Engines
- Clear scorecard and weekly feedback so you always know where you stand
- Strong culture: no drama, high accountability, growth‐minded teammates

You might be a fit if:
- You’ve done outbound sales, D2D, real estate, insurance, or similar hunting roles and hit your numbers
- You’re comfortable with phones and don't give up if someone says no
- You'd rather own your number than wait for someone to hand you leads
- You want local, professional work instead of bugging families at dinner
- You’re coachable and like running a proven playbook
- You're willing to put in the work to build something that feeds you business & gets easier with time
- You live in or near Fort Wayne and have a car and valid license
