JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Nuclear Design Inspections (Safety Analyst) in the Nuclear and Environmental Management Industry Sector focussing on Risk Management Solutions for clients such as U.S. NRC - HQ Acquisition Management Division (NRC) | The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Located In CONUS - Washington, DC and across the Mid-Atlantic region Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Safety Analysts assess safety functions, conduct risk assessments, and develop risk mitigation plans for nuclear power reactor plants. Safety Analysts are tasked with in-depth safety analysis, including thorough risk assessments aimed at identifying potential hazards and issues that may impact nuclear facilities. They develop comprehensive risk mitigation plans, thereby enhancing safety and reliability. Collaborating with the team to ensure the implementation of safety protocols is a key component of this role. Staying informed about evolving safety standards, guidelines, and regulations is crucial to maintaining a cutting-edge approach to safety. Furthermore, Safety Analysts provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving safety and efficiency within the nuclear industry.

5 Years experience in safety analysis and risk assessment.
