Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 / year

Location: Hyattsville, MD / Field Sites (DMV Area)

Experience: 10+ Years Construction | 5+ Years Leadership

Job Overview

SCM, Inc. is seeking a dynamic MEP Project Manager to lead complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects from inception to completion. You will be the bridge between technical design and field execution, ensuring every project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Lead the planning and scheduling of MEP projects.

  • Technical Oversight: Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise implementation of MEP systems.

  • Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clients, engineers, and internal field teams.

  • Procurement: Manage material and equipment procurement via ProCore and Bluebeam.

  • Site Supervision: Monitor site activities for safety compliance, quality standards, and schedule adherence.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in construction; 5+ years in a Superintendent or Leadership position.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction (or equivalent experience).

  • Software: Proficiency in ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid. Familiarity with Civil 3D is highly desirable.

  • Certifications: OSHA 30 (Minimum). Licenses in Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Rigging are a major plus.

  • Languages: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work at heights (30'+).

Working Environment

  • Schedule: Standard 8-hour shifts; flexibility for extended hours/weekends based on project demands.

  • Field-Based: Regular work on active construction sites with exposure to weather, heights, and electrical hazards.
