We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Expeditor, Materials Specialist to join our team at K&A Power Group in Orange, Connecticut. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. You’ll be part of a dynamic, people-focused team where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will be valued and celebrated.

Role Expectations:

  • Supports Project Manager, Construction Manager and Commission Manager sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking, expediting, managing materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery to storage areas and project site.
  • Verification of Bill of Materials
  • Supplier Identification
  • Commodity Lead Time Analysis
  • Order Acknowledgements
  • Expediting delivery
  • Materials Management
  • Communication to Project Managers regarding material schedules.
  • Quality control
  • Vendor Damage Claim Management

What we’re looking for:

  • Associate degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
  • Five (5) years of experience in Materials Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
  • SAP Experience Preferred
  • Experience in Utility Industry Preferred
  • Must be a Maine resident

Pay Range $70,000-$75,000/annually
