Dodson Pest Control is one of the largest family-owned pest control companies in the United States and we are seeking a dynamic Sales Inspector in the Richmond Metro Area to join our team of over 650 employees. We proudly serve customers in seven states and the District of Columbia and continue the tradition of excellence established in 1944.

Experience in the pest control industry is preferred, and a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service is required.

This is a commissioned position. Sales inspectors are paid a minimum of $36,000/year with an average of $75,000 annually. There is potential for earnings of $140,000 or more in a Sales Inspector role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Develop new customer contacts, prospect for leads, and follow up all leads.

2. Keep up to date on all company services and products, as well as all regulatory requirements.

3. Make inspections and prepare professional proposals.

4. Set high goals and strive diligently to meet and exceed those goals.

5. Maintain accurate and complete records of all customers and prospects.

6. Develop and maintain relationships with residential and commercial customers.

Qualifications for this position include:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Proven Sales Ability
  3. Acceptable driving record and background check
  4. Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
  5. Strong customer service skills
  6. Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height, with or without accommodation
