Job description

Description

Scheduled Hours: 15-29 per week


Duties:

Ability to teach all 4 swimming strokes to children 2+ years of age.

Must attend all scheduled practices, meets, and swim team social events (if needed).

Must be prepared to get in the water every day.

Promote a positive learning environment.

Ability to assess and provide swim lessons.

Assist in maintaining cleanliness of aquatics facilities.

Assist with lifeguarding, when needed.

Push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.

Work some odd hours based on events and summer holidays.

Report all maintenance issues to Director of Fitness and Aquatics.

And other assigned task by the Director of Fitness & Aquatics.

Requirements

Qualifications:

ARC Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED Certified, Required

ARC Water Safety Instructor Certified, Required

USA Swimming Swim Certified Coach, Preferred

Knowledge of Hy-Tek Team Manager & Meet Manager, Preferred

Must be punctual, responsible, and have general knowledge of basic swimming instruction.

Candidates must have exceptional customer service skills and be able to perform under pressure.

Must be available to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, when needed.


Compensation & Benefits:

Part-Time Position

Salary: $15 per hour + 50% Lesson Commission

Holiday Pay and Occasional Overtime Opportunities

Employee Meals & Golf Provided by the Club
