RMSST 4-8 is classified as a non-traditional Magnet school opening in August 2026 for students in 4th-8th grades. It is a rigorous program focused on STEM, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and the Design Thinking process. Applicants must be flexible, possess a growth mindset, collaborate positively and effectively with others, and take initiative. They must understand business education principles and be able to integrate various of STEM into the curriculum such as coding, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, etc.
To be considered, candidates must hold a teaching certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission AND must have ALREADY passed the GACE in science, math, and/or business education for grades 4-8.
