Home Inspector / Pest Solutions Consultant


Mosquito & Pest Authority – Richmond, VA
Full-Time | Company Vehicle Provided | Paid Training | Uncapped Commission

We are growing and looking for a high-performing Home Inspector / Pest Solutions Consultant who takes ownership, operates with urgency, and delivers excellence.


This role combines home inspections, customer education, and solution-based sales. If you are dependable, driven, and want control over your earning potential while building a long-term career, this opportunity is for you.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct thorough interior and exterior home inspections for pest and mosquito activity
    (includes attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and confined spaces)
  • Identify contributing conditions and diagnose pest issues accurately
  • Educate homeowners on findings and recommend customized service solutions
  • Deliver professional, tailored presentations based on inspection results
  • Prepare estimates and service plans using company-provided Tablet or Laptop and software
  • Document inspection notes, measurements, and property details accurately
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and quality
  • Achieve performance goals through assigned leads and proactive relationship building


Compensation

  • Estimated annual earnings: $55,000–$95,000+ (base pay plus uncapped commission)
  • Top performers exceed this range

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Flexible schedule with occasional weekend availability


Qualifications

  • Sales experience preferred, not required (we train the right people)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces
  • Basic math skills for measurements and estimates
  • Valid Virginia driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening


Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawlspaces, attics, rooftops, and confined spaces
  • Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
  • Wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when required
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
