Position Summary
LPG is seeking an experienced and highly connected Maritime & Energy Business Development Representative to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the maritime, oil & gas, renewable energy, utilities, logistics, transportation, and critical infrastructure sectors.
This role is ideal for former industry executives, military veterans, maritime professionals, oil and gas specialists, or experienced sales professionals with established industry relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within maritime, energy, and critical infrastructure markets.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers including executives, operations leaders, facility managers, security directors, and risk managers.
  • Introduce LPG's services including:
    • Security Guard Services
    • Executive Protection
    • Risk & Vulnerability Assessments
    • Travel Security Programs
    • Protective Intelligence
    • Investigations & Due Diligence
    • GSOC and Monitoring Solutions
    • Corporate Security Consulting
    • Supply Chain & Cargo Security
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade organizations.
  • Coordinate meetings between prospective clients and LPG leadership.
  • Maintain prospect pipelines and provide regular opportunity updates.
  • Support proposal development and contract negotiations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing relationships within maritime, energy, logistics, or industrial sectors.
  • Experience in business development, sales, operations, security, military, law enforcement, or intelligence.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a self-generated pipeline.
  • Knowledge of maritime security, energy operations, critical infrastructure, or industrial risk management is preferred.
Compensation
This is a commission-only opportunity with uncapped earning potential.
Compensation may include:
  • Percentage of collected revenue from originated contracts.
  • Long-term residual commissions on recurring business.
  • Enhanced commission opportunities for strategic or enterprise-level accounts.
  • Additional incentives for multi-site or multi-year agreements.
Commissions are paid only after LPG receives payment from the client.
