Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Melrose Park - Corporate HQ - Melrose Park, IL 60160Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 Base+Commission/monthTravel Percentage: None

  • Coordinate proposal generation including creating bills of material, pricing/selecting material, generating layouts/drawings as well as coordinating with Engineering as needed.
  • Manage and facilitate internal project meetings with Production, Engineering, and Operations, as well as customer meetings to ensure project alignment and timely execution.
  • Provide product application and technical training to distributors showcasing Interlake Mecalux's engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Utilize CRM and ERP tools to accurately track, manage, and follow up on sales leads, quotations, opportunities, and won projects.
  • Monitor and analyze lost sales opportunities, identify reasons for project losses, and communicate findings and recommendations to management to support continuous sales improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate weekly and monthly sales activity, pipeline, and performance reports.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Assist in evaluating distributor performance and identifying strategic distributor partnerships that align with company goals and contribute to long-term business success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure accurate quotations, seamless order execution, and successful project delivery.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay current on company products, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively support customers and the sales organization.
Qualifications
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.
