Job Summary: Insurance Account Executive
As an Insurance Account Executive, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for clients seeking personal or commercial insurance solutions. In this role, you will manage client relationships, handle inquiries, process policy changes, and assist with policy selection, renewals, and claims.
With your expertise in either personal or commercial lines, you’ll deliver tailored guidance that enhances client satisfaction and retention. Beyond maintaining existing accounts, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop referral strategies and grow your own book of business. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship building and enjoys helping clients protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main contact for clients, managing their personal or commercial insurance accounts.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and provide effective solutions.
  • Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and claims processing.
  • Educate clients on coverage options to ensure informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed client records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to secure optimal coverage.
  • Monitor client accounts for timely renewals and payments.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships to promote long-term client loyalty.
  • Stay current with industry trends, products, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client service role within the insurance industry.
  • Solid knowledge of personal or commercial lines insurance products (e.g., auto, home, renters, business).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in insurance software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred.
