The major work responsibilities may include: assisting the public, government agencies, real estate professionals, attorneys, and co-workers in researching parcel data and answering questions relating to real property ownership and assessment; and performing a variety of technical duties related to tax mapping. The Mapping Technician classification is distinguished from the Mapper classification in that the Mapping Technician spends the majority of the time providing customer service and performs less technically complex mapping duties. Supervision is provided by the GIS and Cadastral Mapping Manager.\r\n
