Call Center Representative II - (Account and Loan Representative)

Your Role:
As a Call Center Representative II, you’ll play a dual role answering inbound calls providing, high-quality service to members while actively identifying and pursuing new business. You’ll guide members through the loan process, uncovering needs, as well as promote and cross-sell TEG products and services, while maintaining long-lasting profitable member relationships, and taking initiative to prospect, generate leads, and follow up —promoting TEG’s principals of integrity, professionalism, service excellence and cooperation.

Call Center Representative: Account & Loan Responsibilities:

  • -Responsible for educating members on loan products and gather complete, accurate loan application information.
  • -Interviews loan applications to develop information concerning their loan needs, submits applications to the underwriting department.
  • -Proactively seek growth opportunities through outbound calls and prospecting activities.
  • -Performs member service and loan service functions as requested by the member, such as address changes, ordering of checks, and lien releases.
  • -Responds to and resolves member issues, such as placing stop payments, reordering of lost or stolen ATM/Debit Cards, disputing fraudulent transactions and loan inquiries ensuring member concerns are resolved.
  • -Assists members with mobile or online banking questions.
  • -Assists the Branch Manager with retaining and developing new accounts and loans, effectively cross-selling credit union products and loan services driving business growth.

Performance Measurements:

  • -Member Support- Promptly and professional service answering incoming calls and other communications, addressing member inquiries.
  • -Problem Resolution- Troubleshoot and resolve member issues and complaints efficiently, escalating complex problems to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • -Product knowledge and Cross-Selling- Maintain and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and services to educate members and identify opportunities to cross-sell relevant offerings that support their financial goals.
  • -Effective Communication- Clearly articulating ideas, actively listening to both employees and members, and keeping everyone informed and aligned with the Credit Union’s mission.
  • -Member Relationship Management- Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with members to enhance their experience and loyalty.
  • -Ethical Practices: Adhering to industry regulations and maintaining high ethical standards to safeguard the institution and its members.
  • -Interpersonal Skills: Paying full attention to members, actively listening with conflict resolution, empathy and emotional intelligence when needed.

What you Bring:

  • -Two or more years of experience in member service, financial services, lending, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • -A high school education or GED
  • -Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • -Strong organization skills modeling our missions and values.
  • -Excellent verbal and written communication.
