Job Summary:
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in scientific writing, clinical knowledge, and evidence-based medicine, paired with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
You will be a great fit for this role if:

Key Roles and Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Quality, Outcomes, and Research Scientific Writer include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing comprehensive written materials for research, outcomes, and quality improvement projects, including study objectives, design, methodology, statistical considerations, data collection tools, and conclusions (e.g., abstracts, protocols, manuscripts, presentations).
  • Regularly review and revise research documentation based on feedback from researchers, pharmacy leadership, and IRB/regulatory authorities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting the collection, interpretation, and assessment of data related to pharmacy services and outcomes across the health system.
  • Collaborating directly with pharmacy research teams, providing writing and research support that extends to learner projects when those teams are engaged in mentorship.
  • Engaging in relevant committee work to support the growth of the pharmacy healthcare research and outcomes program.
  • Contributing to literature reviews, resource development, and exploration of external funding opportunities.
  • Conducting proactive identification of and submission to relevant journals, websites, and submission platforms for research, outcomes, and quality improvement publications.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Maintain updated medical knowledge pertaining to Clinical Pharmacy Services is required. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor's degree in science related field of study (i.e.: chemistry, biology, microbiology, etc) is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Healthcare Association (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire.
