JOB SUMMARY

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution                                              of service excellence is paramount.
  • Responsible for accurate exchange of currency and coin.
  • Complies with Currency Transaction Reporting Procedures and Guidelines.
  • Responsible to accurately sell & redeem tickets for currency and coins.
  • Responsible to work all front line window locations.
  • Counts and verifies all cash turn-ins to the Dealer.
  • Responsible for safeguarding of currency.
  • Complies with Maryland Racing Commission Regulations.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position. American Sign Language is also an acceptable form of communication.
  • Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous money handling experience.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland Racing Commission required of all Racing Services employees.
