Job description

Step onto the line where beloved snacks take shape

As a Snack Packaging Line Technician at Frito-Lay, you’ll be part of the team turning fresh-made products into the neatly packed boxes that head to stores across the country. From your first day, you’ll see how this hands-on role can open doors to grow your career with Frito-Lay and even our parent company, PepsiCo.

What a day can look like

You arrive at your station, review the production plan, and get the line ready for the shift. As product starts flowing, you’ll:

  • Assemble cartons and keep them moving, packing product either by hand or using automated equipment
  • Perform frequent quality checks to ensure accuracy, freshness, and presentation
  • Set up packaging lines during changeovers so the next run is dialed in
  • Uphold housekeeping and complete required sanitation tasks to maintain a food-safe environment
Schedule and pace

Our facilities operate 24/7, so your schedule may include weekends, holidays, and off-shifts. This is a physical role where you’ll be on your feet for your entire shift, and you’re expected to remain on the line until relieved for break. We value teammates who are flexible, dependable, and safety-focused.

Minimum qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as needed
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
Benefits and growth
  • 401(k) contribution
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Financial support to help obtain a degree
  • Company discounts and employee perks

Start here and build a career—many teammates advance within Frito-Lay or explore opportunities across PepsiCo.
