Commission Foreign Correspondent Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Rockland Trust is seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist I in the Deposit Operations Department in Plymouth to process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, manage customer agreements, and handle domestic collection items, with a work schedule of 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process outgoing domestic and international wire transfer transactions in accordance with established policy and procedures.
• Review wire transfer requests for accuracy and validate authorizations.
• Perform callback verification to confirm transaction details and authenticity of transactions. Process incoming wire transfers received through the Federal Reserve Bank and ensure timely credit to customer accounts.
• Monitor account/transaction activity to identify potential fraudulent wire transfer requests.
• Perform research related to wire transfer investigations as requested by customers and business units.
• Perform daily reconciliations with the Federal Reserve and other correspondent banks.
• Maintain business and consumer Wire Transfer Agreements and customer information files.
• Process domestic collection items
• Post entries and reconcile general ledger accounts associated with wire transfer and foreign exchange fees
• Ensure Compliance regulations are being met.
• Communicate both written and verbally with all levels of management, commercial and retail customers, branches, vendors, Federal Reserve and other corresponding banks.
• Performs other job related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be a detailed-oriented individual with strong communication/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Must be self-motivated and show initiative in new learning opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Learn to work with updated technology (i.e. Online Banking etc).
• Must have a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on a continued basis.
• Experience with Digital Products.
• Experience within the financial services industry, preferably in banking.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Banking/wire knowledge is a preferred.
