Job description


The Revenue Analyst is accountable for analyzing data to understand future demand forecast, historical trends and competition and providing recommendations and/or executing management on rate strategies to achieve budgeted goals for revenue, occupancy and arrivals.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Analyze reports to ensure accuracy for all properties
  • Assist with accomplishing rate & inventory management in respective systems (i.e. OnQ R&I, channel manager, and extranets)
  • Manage 1-3 non-branded properties to achieve budgeted goals (rate & restriction changes in Clarity and channel manager, meet with travel partners, Sales, & Marketing
  • Build promotions in multiple systems
  • Communicate new/modified Rate Plans & terms & conditions to System Set-up Team
  • Leverage reporting to monitor booking pace, inventory, occupancy, historical trends for assigned group of resorts, making recommendations as a result of analysis
  • Monitor and ensure rate integrity between Hilton.com and other distribution channels
  • Maintain and monitor group inventory and activity including group build, recommend group rate quotes, cut-off, pick-up, block releases, recommend block & rate increases
  • Onboard new employees and provide ongoing professional development & training
  • Book VIP reservations
  • Support Reservations Team with rate quotes, rate and inventory inquiries, troubleshoot, and resolve reservations issues
  • Submit Hilton GDM forms
  • Follow-up on invalid credit card & charging deposits
  • Assist Front Desk Managers & Business Management with guest research, billing inquiries, & payment of commission
  • Assist with forecasting & budgeting
  • Support the Regional Revenue Manager in recognizing and conveying rental availability gaps to Inventory Management
  • Assist with comp set & market research including rate shops, guarantee, and cancel policies, & updating events/convention calendars
  • Aid Regional Revenue Managers & Revenue Managers in planning, carrying out, and following up on team training
  • Assist with reporting as needed
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by leadership
  • Represent the Hilton Grand Vacations values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Collaboration, Responsibility, Now
  • Complete all required company training/compliance courses as assigned
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To achieve success in this position, the individual should have the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - 2-3 years of experience.
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, & Adobe - 2-3 years of experience.
  • Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis

Additionally, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are desired:
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to make recommendations to improve performance
  • Must be able to pivot to new assignments without notice
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, readily adapting to changing priorities

  • Train colleagues/new hires
