Job description

Expires on September 22, 2026

At Autodesk, we deliver experiences that inspire our customers, partners, and employees to imagine, design, and make a better world. We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Event Technology to lead the execution of the technology ecosystem behind our most visible global experiences.

This role sits at the center of Autodesk’s flagship events, ensuring the technology powering those experiences is seamless, scalable, and impactful. From registration and mobile apps to content platforms, integrations, and onsite operations, you will connect complex systems into a cohesive experience that drives business outcomes.

You are an operator at heart‑bringing clarity to complexity, moving quickly in ambiguous environments, and partnering across teams to get things done. You balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and lead with a team‑first mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end execution of event technology across global conferences, executive programs, and employee events
  • Translate business and experience goals into scalable, connected technology solutions
  • Drive planning, readiness, and governance across all event technology workstreams
  • Partner across Event Operations, Experience Design, Marketing, IT, Data, and external vendors to deliver integrated outcomes
  • Continuously improve processes, automation, and attendee experience
Own Registration & Attendee Platforms
  • Lead delivery of registration and attendee management systems, including workflows, access, capacity, and communications
  • Support badging, access control, scanning, and onsite attendee operations
  • Ensure systems align with reporting needs and downstream integrations
Manage Content & Speaker Technology
  • Oversee CFP platforms, speaker portals, and content management systems
  • Support session scheduling, speaker workflows, and content publishing
  • Ensure data accuracy across all attendee‑facing experiences
Deliver Learning & Engagement Technology
  • Lead technology planning for hands‑on labs and learning environments
  • Manage mobile apps and attendee engagement platforms, including testing, configuration, and deployment
  • Partner with Experience teams to deliver engaging digital event experiences
Drive Data, Integrations & Insights
  • Execute integrations across CRM, marketing, and analytics platforms
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability for reporting and lead management
  • Partner with Data and Marketing teams to support dashboards and measurement frameworks
Ensure Readiness & Execution
  • Establish QA, testing, and launch readiness standards
  • Lead issue resolution, risk management, and contingency planning
  • Support onsite technology operations and command center functions
Build Strong Partnerships
  • Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, and performance
  • Partner cross‑functionally to drive alignment, efficiency, and results
  • Develop documentation and playbooks that scale operations
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years leading event technology, marketing technology, or digital experience programs
  • Expertise in event platforms, registration systems, integrations, and data workflows
  • Strong understanding of APIs, CRM ecosystems, and reporting frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives
  • Experience managing vendors and external partners
The Ideal Candidate
  • You bring order to complexity and stay focused when priorities shift
  • You are relentless in execution and take ownership of outcomes
  • You are brave in ambiguity, making decisions without perfect information
  • You are ingenious in problem‑solving, always looking for smarter, scalable solutions
  • You are a trusted partner, building strong relationships across teams and with vendors
  • You communicate clearly, operate with urgency, and thrive in fast‑paced environments
  • You balance high standards with practicality, delivering exceptional experiences while remaining flexible
