Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and project specifications.
  • Accurately install wiring, conduit, panelboards, lighting fixtures, devices, boxes, breakers, and pre-fabricated assemblies.
  • Set up and commission electrical distribution and automation systems, including switchgear, transformers, control panels, PLC cabinets, and VFDs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise installation and compliance.
  • Perform motor and control circuitry terminations, with a thorough understanding of power and control systems.
  • Bend and install conduit using hand benders and mechanical benders.
  • Perform excavation work (digging trenches) using hand tools or powered equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with foremen, electricians, apprentices, and project managers to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school training preferred.
  • 1-5 years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred (or a combination of education and experience).
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, job site safety protocols, and proper PPE usage.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic and advanced math, including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
  • Skilled in reading technical documents: blueprints, instructions, procedures, labels, and gauges.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal).
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crawl, and push.
  • Regularly lifts and carries up to 60 lbs.
  • Uses hands and fingers to handle, feel, and operate tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to talk and hear clearly to communicate with team members and supervisors.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to construction site conditions, including extreme weather, uneven terrain, and loud noise.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and airborne particles.
  • Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including confined spaces and elevated work areas.
