Job description

Position Overview

We are actively seeking a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team at We Care Healthcare Center. Our aim is to enhance mental health accessibility and quality care through telehealth services. As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and management of therapeutic interventions aimed at improving the mental well-being of individuals and families.

About the Organization

We Care Healthcare Center, located in Hillsboro, Oregon, is committed to providing high-quality mental health services to the community. Our approach focuses on delivering compassionate care while fostering an inclusive and flexible environment for both clients and staff. We prioritize addressing the mental health needs of our patients and seek to reduce barriers to care through innovative telehealth options.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible scheduling and work-life balance. Our telehealth facility supports the use of advanced clinical software to deliver direct therapy sessions, document progress notes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Our culture values autonomy, creativity, and humor, ensuring an enjoyable and rewarding work experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health, develop individualized treatment plans, and proactively monitor progress through ongoing documentation and reviews.
  • Maintain a robust caseload of 25 to 30 clients weekly, delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to unique needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while managing client relationships and navigating the complexities of mental health care.
  • Leverage innovative therapeutic techniques and interventions to empower clients in achieving and surpassing their personal goals.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation for each session, adhering to company guidelines and maintaining compliance with mental health regulations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including case managers, educational staff, and medical professionals, to coordinate services that support client wellness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse client base, which includes children, adolescents, couples, and families. Your expertise in family therapy will play a crucial role in addressing relational dynamics and fostering healthy communication patterns within these units. Your culturally competent approach will enable you to connect effectively with a broad spectrum of patients, reflecting our inclusive values.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist designation in the state of Oregon.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of family therapy services, including understanding community resources and fee collection mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated experience in documenting clinical interactions, including developing treatment plans and maintaining treatment compliance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills vital for client engagement and interprofessional collaboration.
  • Capability to model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients while fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Background check clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in various therapeutic settings.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and a strong commitment to remote service excellence.
  • Experience in collecting and processing treatment-related fees at the time of service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Flexible compensation plans tailored to individual needs, including a robust wellness program and professional development opportunities.
  • Enjoy the freedom to set your own schedule in alignment with your clients’ needs and preferences.
  • Receive additional compensation through a commission structure based on service claims.
  • Access to paid supervision and case consultation, alongside allocated time for documentation.
  • Benefit from an unlimited time-off policy covering holidays, sick leave, and personal vacation days.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance options and 401(k) retirement savings plans.
  • Full reimbursement for the clinical license renewal expenses.
  • Thrive in a supportive, close-knit team environment that encourages independence and professional growth.
Career Growth Opportunities

At We Care Healthcare Center, we believe in nurturing the professional development of our therapists. This role provides opportunities for clinical advancement, participation in specialized training, and mentorship programs aimed at expanding your clinical expertise and career trajectory.

Why Join Our Team
