* Evaluate network performance, capacity, and architecture to identify potential gaps or areas for improvement
* Design, document, and maintain network architecture and topology
* Work with DOCSIS, DPoE, network protocols, and related technologies
* Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of network hardware, software, and configurations
* Investigate issues beyond automated test results to determine the true root cause
* Analyze hardware, software, configuration, and protocol-related issues
* Develop and implement solutions that minimize customer and operational impact
* Work with cross-functional teams to investigate escalated technical issues and drive them to resolution
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10+ years of network engineering experience
* Hands-on experience with DOCSIS technologies
* Experience with DPoE systems
* Strong understanding of network architecture and network topology
* Strong knowledge of network protocols and networking fundamentals
* Experience troubleshooting complex network issues across hardware, software, and configurations
* Strong testing and validation experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
* Strong time-management and prioritization skills
* Ability to effectively troubleshoot without relying solely on scripted processes or automated tools
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and navigate technical disagreements or competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Fiber networks and technologies
* Experience supporting DOCSIS 4.0 initiatives
* Experience working with CPE/network engineering environments
* Experience with network labs and hands-on technical testing
