Job description

Job Summary

As an Associate Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to help support business decisions. They will have a strong analytical background and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify trends and patterns in data. The Associate Data Analyst will use modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, identify, and analyze data.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collecting and interpreting data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
  • Connect to and extract data from multiple enterprise sources including Snowflake, Azure SQL, SAP, APIs, flat files, and other systems to support analysis and reporting needs.
  • Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and datamarts that consolidate consultant, customer, sales, and commission data into a clean, reliable layer optimized for reporting and analysis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards in Power BI and Tableau that provide leadership with clear visibility into consultant performance, commission outcomes, sales trends, and customer behavior.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in data collection and analysis processes and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintaining and updating databases and other systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of structured and unstructured datasets using SQL, Python, and Excel to identify trends, anomalies, and business drivers.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across sales, finance, operations, and marketing to define KPIs, scope analytical requirements, and deliver insights that support business decisions.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests with accurate, timely analysis, and translate findings into clear recommendations for management and senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automate manual reporting processes, and strengthen the accuracy and efficiency of analytical workflows.
  • Maintain and document data models, dashboards, and reporting logic to ensure work is repeatable, scalable, and auditable.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
  • 1-3 years professional experience in a technology or business field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SAS, and/or Data Visualization.
  • Ability to track and communicate status of team initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to be trustworthy and dependable.
  • Demonstrate proficient analytic skills and attention to detail.
