Job Summary

The Director of Venue Engineering Services – West Region is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting highprofile, highrevenue customers within the DAS industry. This role leads highly complex engineering efforts involving the design, development, and optimization of largescale wireless networks and ensures bestinclass system performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering Leadership

  • Demonstrate strong expertise in RF engineering principles.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of major DAS OEM architectures (e.g., Airspan, Andrew, JMA, SOLiD).
  • Understand traditional and digital power systems.
  • Develop and optimize RF performance standards to ensure highquality system design.
  • Stay current with carrier 5G deployment strategies and translate them effectively into venue environments.
  • Create and utilize RF propagation and planning tools, with iBwave as the primary platform.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to engineering teams.
  • Lead development of project estimates, technical proposals, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for full system builds.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of fiberoptic systems and architecture.

Customer & Project Management

  • Partner with wireless operators to forecast venue capacity needs and plan for future carrier integrations and upgrades.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for highprofile and VIP customers.
  • Collaborate with internal department managers to achieve company objectives.
  • Work closely with Deployment and Construction teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Organize and conduct meetings aligned with departmental goals.
  • Manage weekly administrative tasks, including timesheets and expense reporting.
  • Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and accrual processes.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of direct iBwave design experience for highcapacity venues.
  • Minimum 3 years of handson experience collecting and postprocessing benchmarking data.
  • Minimum 5 years of commissioning and optimization experience across all major DAS OEMs (Airspan, Andrew/CommScope, JMA, SOLiD, etc.).

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Exercises good judgment and familiarity with carrier testing and closeout package requirements.
  • Local to Arizona, California, Nevada, or Washington market

Working Conditions

  • Regular use of standard office equipment.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk stairs and navigate various work environments.
  • Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with availability for support outside of normal hours.

  • Regional travel up to but not limited to 50% required.
