As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will provide technical leadership in data and software development, defining and implementing modern, flexible architectures that bridge legacy systems and next-generation cloud platforms. You will leverage cloud computing, big data technologies, and DevOps practices within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment to enable scalable, secure, and intelligent data solutions. This role is critical in transforming traditional data ecosystems—including COBOL and JCL-based pipelines—into modern, cloud-native architectures while incorporating AI-driven engineering practices such as model context protocols (MCP), intelligent agents, and continuous skills evolution.
