Job description

Job Opportunity

Looking for general laborers for a busy Tier 1 manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, MI. Manufacturing bumpers for GM & Chrysler.

Shifts:

  • 1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm
  • 2nd shift (.75 cent shift premium): 2:00pm-10:00pm
  • 5-7 days

Pay: $15.50/hour to start (weekly pay)

Type: Union shop (full time/permanent)

Job Requirements

Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day. Bend, stretch, lift up to 35 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience a plus.

Description

Packaging: You will be building boxes up and putting products into boxes. You will be working with labels as well. Then you will be securing boxes to pallets using shrink wrap.

Unloader/Loader: You will be taking the bumpers off of the assembly line and placing them on the racks and/or station. The bumpers weight 25-30lbs.

Painting/cleaning: You will be painting the trim on the bumpers and wiping them clean.
