About the role:

The Manager, Owned Retail Analytics & Insights is an analytical role within the Retail Excellence organization, encompassing strategic planning, data analysis, and business intelligence, translating numbers into insights that drive decision-making at every level of the Owned business. This role provides exposure to creating strategic insights, sales planning, PowerBI dashboard creation and makes an impact by distilling complex data into actionable insights. We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytically-driven Manager to own performance reporting, commercial sales planning, and business intelligence across the Fashion Boutiques and FBBs.

As Manager, Owned Retail Analytics & Insights, you will shape how Chanel's Owned Retail business leverages data to drive performance and strategic growth. You will:

  • Deliver performance recaps that distill complex sales and clienteling data into actionable insights, influencing decision-making for senior leadership.

  • Build and enhance sales planning tools and dashboards, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of fashion boutiques and F&B retail teams.

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence infrastructure, ensuring Chanel stays ahead in understanding market dynamics and client behavior.

  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting and analytics, enabling leaders to make more informed decisions and identify new opportunities.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in commission and bonus payouts, supporting a motivated, high-performing field team.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills-capable of translating complex analyses into clear, compelling presentations.

  • A passion for retail, with a deep understanding of retail business dynamics.

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive enhancements in reporting and business intelligence infrastructure.

Position Logistics

  • Partially Remote:Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the designated location/office.

  • Location requirement: New York

  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings or market visits.

  • No significant physical requirements.

Compensation:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 70,200 through $110,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
