Commission Boat Foreman Jobs (NOW HIRING)

The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is looking for a Fish Culture Station Foreman to join our Corry State Fish Hatchery in Erie County. In this role, you will oversee activities at the hatchery to ensure safe and efficient operations as well as regulatory compliance. Your leadership and collaboration will make a direct impact on hatchery success and community enjoyment of aquatic resources. As a Fish Culture Station Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising fish culturists in the propagation of fish for stocking for Commonwealth waters. You will have the opportunity to play an integral part of the day-to-day operations at Corry State Fish Hatchery, while working alongside personnel to prioritize the hatchery needs to ensure efficiency. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Fish Culturist 2; or
• Two years of technical experience in the propagation and care of food or game fish; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

• This position requires possession of an active Class B Commercial Driver's License.
