What is a Commission Army Range Control?

Commission Army Range Control personnel are officers in the military responsible for overseeing and managing training ranges and live-fire exercises on Army installations. Their duties include planning, coordinating, and ensuring the safe conduct of training activities involving weapons and maneuver exercises. They also enforce safety protocols, maintain range facilities, and work with various units to schedule and support training events. By ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, they help maximize training effectiveness while minimizing risks.
