The Pilates Instructor is responsible for planning and leading safe, effective, and engaging Pilates classes for individuals and groups. This position supports clients in improving strength, flexibility, posture, and overall well-being through the use of Pilates principles and equipment. The instructor ensures that each session promotes proper technique, accommodates individual needs, and aligns with the studio’s commitment to providing high-quality instruction and exceptional client service.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead safe, effective, and engaging group Pilates classes for up to 12 clients.
  • Clearly communicate verbal cues and movement directions to guide participants through exercises.
  • Provide appropriate modifications and progressions to meet the individual needs of clients within a group setting.
  • Incorporate props and equipment into class flows to enhance engagement and results.
  • Encourage and support clients in achieving personal health and fitness goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio space; assist with cleaning and equipment upkeep as needed.
  • Demonstrate proper technique and exercises, including bending, lifting, and performing physical movements.
  • Comply with all safety procedures, company policies, and professional standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Wage amp; Compensation:    
The hourly rate or salary range for this position is broad to reflect the range of experience, skills, and certifications candidates may bring. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location, consistent with applicable state pay transparency laws.
Instructors are eligible for a quarterly incentive program. Instructors earn 10% commission on private training, retail, and first month membership sales.
Benefits:
Instructors are required to teach an average of 25 classes a week throughout a six-month lookback period to qualify for benefits. ALL Spartan employees are eligible to participate in the Spartan 401K program with up to a 5% match.
