Job description

Description and Requirements
General Description: Responsible for creating commission data files. Audit the data in the company's commission processing system. Ensure the policy level detail is accurate related to carrier, coverage, and commission type.
Responsibilities:
  • Compare commission data to IT inquiries.
  • Create bulk uploads to assist the Commissions Department and Operations teams.
  • Assist with acquisitions. Gather data from statements and prepare the template for policy upload.
  • Complete and deliver accurate reports as requested by the operations and sales teams.
  • Resolve commission inquiries assigned via SharePoint or due to a commission or Agent change.
  • Process commission statements adhering to all commission deadlines.
  • Serve as point person for specific reporting needs. Create reports as requested.
  • Complete approval NCF and commission trackers issues timely
  • Provide training to new hires.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience in the insurance field a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must have data entry skills.
  • Attention to detail in reviewing information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy, team environment.
