This full-time position, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, is designed for those who are passionate about facilitating the mental health wellness of individuals and families. We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.

As part of our outpatient office, you will be supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to collaboration and client-centered care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches tailored to individual needs.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on personalized care approaches that enhance client engagement and progress.
• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional health of clients, utilizing a variety of psychological testing tools and interview techniques.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs, goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate support resources to ensure client safety.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources to foster empowerment and resilience.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to deliver integrated care plans that address both mental and physical health.

The clients you will serve range from children to adults dealing with various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Our diverse patient population demands a nuanced understanding of cultural competencies and the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual.

• A master’s degree in counseling or a related field is required.
• Must possess a valid state license to practice counseling in Connecticut.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all professional interactions.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, allowing for effective assessment and response to client needs.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, including training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Documented experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying socioeconomic statuses.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Experience in a remote or telehealth setting is highly desirable.
