Advent Health Counseling Center is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote healthcare team. This full-time position, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, is designed for those who are passionate about facilitating the mental health wellness of individuals and families. We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on personalized care approaches that enhance client engagement and progress.
  • Perform thorough assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional health of clients, utilizing a variety of psychological testing tools and interview techniques.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs, goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate support resources to ensure client safety.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources to foster empowerment and resilience.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to deliver integrated care plans that address both mental and physical health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve range from children to adults dealing with various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in counseling or a related field is required.
  • Must possess a valid state license to practice counseling in Connecticut.
