What jobs are considered advanced manufacturing?

Advanced manufacturing jobs include roles such as CNC machinists, robotics technicians, automation engineers, additive manufacturing specialists, and process engineers. These positions often require knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD), programming, and familiarity with modern manufacturing technologies and tools.

What is the difference between Commission Advanced Manufacturing vs Commission Manufacturing Technician?

AspectCommission Advanced ManufacturingCommission Manufacturing Technician
CertificationsOften requires technical certifications in manufacturing processesTypically requires similar technical certifications or vocational training
Work EnvironmentFactory floors, production lines, and manufacturing plantsFactory settings, equipment operation, and assembly lines
Industry UsageCommonly used in advanced manufacturing sectors like aerospace, automotive, and electronicsUsed across general manufacturing industries including consumer goods and industrial products

Commission Advanced Manufacturing and Commission Manufacturing Technician roles share similar credentials and work environments, often within manufacturing plants.
